What We Do

The Flying Stitch specializes in Counted Cross Stitch. We carry thousands of patterns, hundreds of fabric and fiber choices and all accessories needed for needle arts.

The Flying Stitch also offers Custom Framing Services for your Needle Art projects as well as your photos, memorabilia, posters, paintings or other unique items.

What's New?

The owner! That's right, as of mid-August 2007 the new owner is Kelly Keating.

After 10 years, Thelma Edwards has retired as store owner but not as avid stitcher! She will still be in and out of Battle Creek as she travels back and forth from Toronto where her husband Dale was recently transferred.

Kelly has been a stitcher for many years and a customer of the Flying Stitch for the 19 plus years it has been open in Battle Creek.

Kelly also has a background in Custom Framing, having worked for Bair's Decorating and owning a home-based business, Kelly's Framing.
